The Future of the Waymakers Community, LLC
The Waymakers Community is more than a project—it’s a movement to reimagine what education and family life can look like. We believe that every child has been created with unique strengths, and that even the hardest challenges can become stepping stones when families are equipped and supported. Our vision is to walk alongside parents, especially those raising neurodivergent children, and help them turn obstacles into opportunities. By weaving together homeschooling, homesteading, and community, we are creating a place where wonder, resilience, and connection are at the heart of learning.
The Teaching Pavillion and the surrounding farm are the foundation of this dream—a place where children learn by doing, where families gather around the fire ring to share stories, and where hands-on skills meet timeless values. This is a community where kids discover their potential, parents find encouragement, and families are reminded that they are not walking this path alone. The Waymakers Community is about planting seeds of hope and growing a generation who knows how to create, care, and thrive—together.
Clear Land for Pavilion - $500
Lay Gravel & Set Posts - $2500
Build Pavilion - $5000
Set up the Classroom - $2000
Build Fire Ring - $200
STEP 1 –
I need to clear the spot for the pavilion and then lay landscape cloth down. This would be a much cheaper endeavor if I had a tractor ….
STEP 2 –
Once the area is prepped, we will need to set posts for the pavilion and lay gravel.
STEP 3 –
Building the pavilion is the exciting part!
STEP 4 –
Once everything is built, we will set up our outdoor classroom. If you would like to donate to this area, we will need chairs, tables, storage and classroom materials. Many of these items can be found on our Amazon Wishlist.
STEP 5 –
A fire ring is a great place to gather with friends and we hope this will grow into a community of like-minded folks.
